I have difficulties typing “from” most of the time. I always get “form”. Really annoying. =(

I have a good feeling about this year, but I won’t be setting up any New Year’s resolutions. I always fail them anyway.

My thoughts are going out to granny who is still at hospital (but feeling good). She’ll be home tomorrow hopefully!

I’ll make it short… Happy New Year ya’ll! Let’s make 2009 a great year together.

I dislike shopping per the usual Swedish mothers-way. Walking around for hours in different stores and buy cheap stuff that you don’t really need. Yesterday my mother dropped me off outside a couple of electronics stores so I could see if they had any bargains. The intermediate days between Christmas and New Years Day are holy in Sweden. Not sure how it is in other countries, but over here there are massive sales. The stores sell out a lot of stuff to make room for the new items in January.

I didn’t buy anything, but I enjoyed analyzing people’s behavior. After a couple of minutes, you could immediately group the masses into three groups:

• The kids that didn’t get what they wanted for Christmas, and are now pointing to everything to get their parents’ attention.
• The mothers that are snapping up what their kids want, and will return tomorrow to buy it. What they don’t know though is that kids change opinions fast, so next year they want something else. It’s an evil circle.
• The fathers that have gotten themselves a new cellphone for Christmas, and they’ve read the manual and changed ring tone to something awesome like the Knight Rider theme. Every time someone calls them, they are embarrassed of their ring tone, and even more so when they can’t find the “answer” button.

It’s great to analyze people. I could walk for hours in a city without buying anything, just looking at people. I have inherited this creepy behavior from my parents.

I got an awesome T-Shirt from my mother today with a Johnny Cash print on it. My love handles showed really badly when I tried it on though, so that’s a great motivation for me to get rid of them. I really want to use the t-shirt soon!

It’s like that tv series “Three Ladies and a Dress” where three fat women try to fit in their wedding dresses.

Away with the Christmas food and put the salad on the table!

Today my sister left our house to go back to the the south of Sweden where she belongs. This means my rats no longer will have to fear her cats (or vice versa), and our guest room is once again empty.

My sister was here four days in total, and during those days, she forgot how to sit in a car. She made an attempt:

Then my mother’s partner tried helping her, and got stuck.

Now you know why I don’t have a license. If it’s that difficult to get into the car, then how can you possible drive it?
